Gas turbine insulation

Our easy-maintenance, removable and reusable mattress insulation for gas turbines

Multi-layer insulation system with hooks and wire connection

Our multi-layer mattress insulation system is based on reusable insulation mattresses that can be installed on the turbine without a bracket system.

These reusable insulation mattresses are covered with a high-temperature fabric with stainless steel wire and filled with high-temperature-resistant mineral wool.

Using 3D scans and the 3D models included, we can design our insulation system for any individual type of gas turbine.

Each mattress is given its own individual label and can be installed in the intended position using our mattress installation plan.

The seam staggering between the first and second layers means ideal insulation can be achieved even with a low insulation thickness. Its easy maintenance makes the multi-layer system suitable for electrically heated turbines.

Single-layer inclined (45°) mattress insulation system with hook and loop connection

The single-layer inclined mattress insulation system has become an established system in the gas turbine insulation market in recent decades. This is due to the quick availability of special components as well as the ideal insulation effect due to the inclined seam staggering. These reusable insulation mattresses are covered with a high-temperature fabric with stainless steel wire and filled with high-temperature-resistant mineral wool.

A bracket system is fitted to the gas turbine, which holds each individual mattress in its position. This prevents the insulation from sagging under load.

Each mattress is given its own individual label and can be installed in the intended position using our mattress installation plan.

The insulation mattresses are attached to each other and to the holder system with a high-temperature resistant hook and loop connection.
