Sustainable energy for a greener future
Since March 2020 we have been relying on sustainable energy and environmentally friendly mobility to reduce our environmental footprint. With six photovoltaic plants at various locations – including Gelsenkirchen, Marl, Stade and Merseburg – we have achieved a total output of over 1,025 kWp. We also promote electromobility with many wallboxes at our locations and construction sites, as well as a growing fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles.
Through these measures we have already been able to save over 1,418 tonnes of CO². This saving equates to 488,925 litres of heating oil, 708,941 m³ of gas, 501 tonnes of coal or a driving distance of 11,219,590 kilometres.
With further projects in the pipeline, we will continue to work actively to protect our environment in the future.
